Lent 2025 || Let's Remember Together..

The Lenten season is upon us, begining today, March 5, 2025.

Today we officially enter into the season or period when many houses of faith observe a 40 weekdays journey of fasting and prayer leading to the "Easter" celebration or the Passion week of Christ, his trial and crucifixion. 

As this 6 week period unfold, let's remember together that we, the objects of Gods deepest affection is what led to the Passion of Christ. We who were once, and those who are still alienated (separated) from God because of humanity's sin. 

However, because of God's great love for us, Christ willing offered up himself to died for us on the cross. 

This mind boggling act of grace maybe lost on you at this point in you faith walk; but it shouldn't ! This audacious love, that is rare according to Romans 5:7-11, is a free gift that we didn't deserve.

This Lenten season, let us commit together to slow down our pace long enough to allow the effects of this text , Romans 3:23-24 remind us of our grest salvation we have in Christ Jesus and rejoice that through him we have been reconciled to God the Father.
