WE ARE SANCTIFIED & SAVED CHILDREN OF GOD!

Good Morning Sojourner Sisters, Happy #WinsomeWednesday!

This is a reminder that sometimes we need to go back to the "ABC" (meaning clear, simple, and yet profound and mind-boggling) gospel that we learned, received, and believed as the foundation of our Faith. Why? Because this helps us to remember the power of the Gospel and the blood of Christ Jesus that has washed us clean and saved our souls. We remember the Faithfulness and Providence of God when we remember the Cross and that in Christ alone we are crucified...it is no longer us that lives, but Christ who lives in us. (Galatians 2:20)
So, for this #WinsomeWednesday, I would like to invite you to take a moment and read this reflection through John 17 below ⬇

WE ARE SANCTIFIED & SAVED CHILDREN OF GOD!

John 17:17 says "Sanctify them in the Truth: your word is truth."
What a great and freeing reminder we find in this statement and prayer Jesus makes to the Father. Not only does He (Jesus) ask the Father to sanctify us, but he also proclaims and reveals that the only way we are truly sanctified is by and through the unadulterated and pure Word of God--The Truth. And we know that the "WORD" is Jesus himself (John 1: 1-4) and through his sacrifice & consecration, we have the gift of salvation and sanctification in Christ.
John 17:19 says "And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth."
So, we can proclaim and own this Truth for ourselves!
John 3:16-17 - “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
And indeed He has Sanctified and Saved us through this TRUTH!
Be EnCouraged Sister in Christ and Let us praise the Lord for all he has done and how he continues to sanctify and transform us by the renewing of our minds, so that we may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2).
Blessings and Peace to you all in our Lord, Jesus Christ!
