Bloom Where God Plants You

The saying bloom where you are planted is common among people, but my thoughts are bloom where God plants you, not where you or another person says you should be planted.

After my daughter’s volleyball game on Saturday, I picked up some assorted roses from the grocery store. I have recently been in heavy thought about life, purpose, and assignment. Right now I can honestly look and admire how this rose gained its beauty. Key factors that nourished its beauty are- the amount of sunlight, location, and type of soil. When all conditions are correct, a beautiful rose blooms. When you are at a crossroads between making crucial decisions for your life, these key factors can apply to us all.

First and foremost, if you lack sunlight (God) you don’t know where your focus should be. If you are in the wrong place, to begin with (location) you can’t bloom the way you should. Lastly, if your type of soil and proximity to your water source (people, what you feed yourself spiritually and physically) is wrong you can’t grow correctly.

Like many of you, I am observing and making adjustments along the way to BLOOM like the Creator has designed me to do. Just the mere fact of examining this rose has convicted me to think deeper and further! I wish you much love, peace, and prosperity.
