Key Take away from today's devotional (Day 1)

Keller gave us 4 power tools he utilized to re-imagine prayer in his life after a health scare. By changing up his Prayer strategy, and staying consistent, within 2 years he and experienced great fruits and the refreshing of a Prayer. This is exciting news, inspiring and an encouragement that can pull us out of prayer slump, rut, or feeling like our prayers are not availing much.

1.READ THE PSALMS and summarize. It is said most of the Psalms speak to us by but many more speak for us. The Psalms are 150 prayers and songs. Use them as a guide to pray. Read and summarize.

2. Make time for MEDITATION after you've read, studied, and prayed. Lingering long on scripture and what God has spoken.

3. Incorporate prayer both morning, daytime and evening.

4. PRAY WITH GREATER EXPECTATION.
This is not new information here, but a great reminder to evaluate your process often and do all to stoke the embers in the fire of your prayer life. Amen

Let us utilize all or part of his suggestions below to better wield the sword of Prayer over the next few weeks of Lent and beyond.
