A glorious reminder, No Longer a Slave to Sin | Romans 6:22

Thought I'd share some more encouragement from a lesson I shared in another social media space here on our webpage for those who wouldn't get to see it in the space at which it was originally targeted.  I just sense that a larger audience of those who have walked with me and follow this ministry needed the sweetness and timely encouragement of joys found in this life changing verse. 

Sisters, you're free from sin! Those flesh impulses which have had you bound, be reminded, while they are ever present and real, your Savior and Lord Jesus Christ died on a bloody cross for your sins. He won that battle! So, because of Christ's victory over sin, death, and the grave, you have the power over sin; therefore,  you can ( have the ability) to choose a new life in God through Christ, that is, choose righteous living. 

As believers, we cannot default to the powerless excuses of our undisciplined nature that seeks the additive options of culture and the world. We've been made alive, and the reign (power and influence of sin) is no more. As a new creation in Christ you and I have a new master, a deliver who will supply everything you need in the body ( the flesh) to conquer the deadly influence if sin.
