THE GOSPEL FOR YOU: Weeks 1 & 2 - A Case for The Gospel

Galatians 1:1-10 POINTS TO TAKE AWAY:

The last time we were together we were reminded that : 1.     The gospel is not only the way to enter the kingdom; it is the way to live in the kingdom. 2.     The Gospel is clear that Salvation, from start to finish is God’s doing. It’s His calling, His Plan, His action, His work…So it is he deserves all the Glory…for all time. 3.     We established, the Gospel as described by the Word, and being reiterated by Paul to the Galatia church and us …is the unique and the ONLY gospel. 4.     To alter or amend the gospel is to render it “NO gospel”- we cannot add or take away from the Gospel truths 5.     The Gospel is revolutionary because of the substitutionery death of Christ; hence the uniqueness. 6.     Chapter 1:1-9 Paul speaks in a very challenging, intense and urgent tone. Paul’s is severe in his delivery because the stakes are very high-our knowledge of Christ, the truth of the Gospel, and the destiny of people’s soul…so as blunt and his words are, we ought to be grateful because he comes to remind us that keeping the Gospel intact…as the work of God ,is our foremost task and the foundation of our Salvation
