The Full Price of Liberty
Today, as many in our nation will exercise their right to vote, I am overwhelmed by yet another opportunity to do so.
1) My liberty and right to vote in this race called "life" , has been secured by the BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS of Jesus Christ. Today as, I vote I may press/ pull the lever; but I instinctively pull and press a lever for the rel
ease of the 3rd man in this governmental race, and that man is the " Spirit of God- Holy Ghost" . That the government of God will supersede all this political in and outter fighting, eating, personality driven, too blind to see the true condition of our hearts . Today, I vote for the man who started it all, with a few simple words, " Let there be"' and there was life, liberty and justice for all!
2) My liberty and right to vote in this election through the blood , sweat and tears of Peter Taylor & Sonia Taylor, who gave up everything, endured with patience and vision a state on humility to secure our residency in America. They suffered separation from each other for years, and even separation from their children. My mother, was reduced to a status of " the help" and my father , worked many jobs to care for his family. So today, when I press/ pull the lever...I think of these two , whose struggle secured my liberty in the States!
Today friends ,take with you a full understanding of how your liberty was secured. Don't get discouraged, or rowdy, or contentious! Just EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE. Wherever your vote lies, trust me, THIS IS ALL IN THE HANDS OF THE ONE WHO, "the government is on his shoulder."
