JESUS A REFESHING OASIS

No matter how dry your situation feels, no matter how intense the heat, Jesus is refreshing oasis and will always cause there to be life blooming in your desert places.

Look at this cactus flourishing in its harsh desert habitat. As I view this plant amid rock...with no visible sign of its source of sustenance, I heard Matthew 6:25-34 in my head, drawing my attention to how this cactus just exists, not a care ; then I thought of myself about how engaged I often get about the climate, pressures, and humidity of  life. How I worry about my life and its sustenance.
As I walked away, it became clearer to me that like the cactus, I need to rely more on the refreshing oasis that Jesus is, and stop worrying about how my life will be sustained. No matter the climate or the temperature , once rightly rooted in Christ I'm guaranteed my sustaining nourishment. He promises to be living water, a wellspring that never dries; therefore , no matter how intense the environment , I will never thirst or be deprived of his nourishing care.

Beloved, Jesus Christ offers us an oasis of grace and mercy from the intensity of life. He is the refreshing brook that will never run dry in the midst of the desert. Let us then worry not about our life; but rather stay rooted by his spring of living water.

..as I read this and ponder over the message I heard this morning at the CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS...The message was a common one...WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM...well..He is the water of life and sustains us(me) for every situation as our (my)roots abide in him. Thus the cactus survives the elements...due to its roots dug down receiving the necessary water...yes even in desert places...HE IS A OASIS...Mom G

Where would I be without His promise of refreshing me as a well watered garden. He sustains me everyday, though I may not recognize it immediately during those times that can be challenging or trying. Oh, but when I do, my Lord, the gratefulness for the springing water in me overwhelms me. So, today, I thank Him for His unlimited grace and mercy and His constant Oasis ... Thank you Jesus
