ARE YOU GUILTY OF SPIRITUAL MALPRACTICE?

As we journey through these chapters of Disciplines for Life, this title question buzz around my thoughts.

When we fail to do our part in the process of sanctification, by working on our...
                     Disciplines...
                                     Practice...
                                                    Sacrifice...

It is inconceivable to believe we are well prepared to minister to others. It's our private practice off the courts of life, that directs our  effectiveness in public.

Our time in the word, worship to the Lord and communication with him, gives us the peace, joy, hope and love we need for our lives, but it also   gives us the wisdom, patience...tools and strategies to reach others.

We are recharged in our private practice of devotions, we are refreshed with  new hope and outlook, we reminded if his promises; therefore, we are better equipped to encourage , and  engage one another to have better encounters with God.

So, do you now see why I asked, " Are you guilty of spiritual malpractice?" If you find yourself giving advise from a place where you have practiced or have had a regular regimen of personal discipline, you could very well be guilty of giving too much of you and less of God!

Yes, it's very possible that as great as your ideas and opinions sound, it's not the soundness of God's truth. How can we in good conscience hold others accountable , if we ourselves have failed to do our own follow through.

It's time to become committed and consistent to...
                               Discipline...
                                                  Practice...
                                                                   Sacrifice.

Just thinking.... that's all!

Refiner God, keep pouring your oil in and on me! Make me teachable, and meek. Father mold and shape me, until I look more like you. Thank you father for your refining oil! Amen
