Seeking Him: Lesson 1 : Ps.69:32b

"You who seek God, let your hearts revive"

As we embark upon this journey through, Seeking Him-Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival, how are you anticipating and desperate for God's grace to revive you?

Ladies, get a journal to write out your thoughts. It may prove to be less confinding, as the Lord revive your heart and cause you to want to express your understanding, interpretations and gratitude through writing.
** "Let the dialogue and encouragement begin, in Jesus' Name. May we all experience a the fruits of the time we put into the journey and may REVIVAL break out in such a way it confounds the wise. Make us over dear Lord, for your Glory!

So I only read day one from the copy provided via email. I pick up my book tomorrow. The comment on God asking for submission and obedience resonated with me. This may convict me as well. I am looking forward to the next days lesson:)

ANTICIPATING AN OUT POURING OF ANOINTING FOR REVIVAL!!!

Ladies, as I read through the introduction to Lesson 1, I am bubbling with great anticipation of God "doing it again" in this season and through us. Do what again? Evan Roberts, young Welsh young man was set ablast for a generation and time. Do you not want to catch on fire and burn for God's eternal purposes. OMW(O my word), I believe God wants to revive, refresh, renew, return us to a state of power and authority.
For too long the church, HIS bride, has slpet the sleeping beauty sleep, we are laying awaiting a prince to come and save us! WELL, the Prince did come and we still slumber. WAKE UP, ye sleeping giants, WAKE up and answer the call to be God agaents in the world!

As, I mediatated on Ps. 69:32b, my soul magnified the Lord, and I was exceedingly glad, because the Lord promises to revive the hearts of all the W.I.F.E women who have been obedient, responsive, desperate to answer the call for revival. Ladies, I expect an outpouring of God's grace and mercy. Raise your level of expectation right now, we will not read, just to read. This is a personal experience, in that we come with high expectancy in the fact that God's promises are true and sure and when he says, "You who seek God, your hearts will be revived" then expect it.
The word REVIVE, means to "bring back to life", Lord through this body of work, as we study it and meditate on the scripture, bring us back to life! For your glory AMEN.

From the Introduction, my prayer is that God would reveal Himself to me in fresh ways, that He will revive my heart, and that He will be magnified in and through my life. I'm excited!

Last night, I set the alarm for 15 minutes earlier. When it went off this morning, I did NOT want to get up. But then I remembered the question, "Am I willing to sacrifice whatever is necessary to see God move in my life and church?" Thankful for that reminder, I got up to prepare for revival!

I've read all the way through Lesson 1: Revival. My biggest question to myself when I first started reading was "do I really need personal revival." Well, the answer to that was a big YES, especially when getting through the list of questions at the end of the chapter. When I found myself answering "no" on some of the questions regarding peace, joy, humility, etc. The fact that I answered in the negative immediately showed me that God had many more areas in which to grow me. Revival requires repentance. Revival requires renewal. So as I read through Lesson 1, I meditated on Romans 12:2. I must be transformed by the renewing of my mind in Christ DAILY. Books like this one are great tools in showing me where revival is needed in my life the most.

From the first day study, I pray that the lord open my eyes so that I may feel much more joy in molding young minds to follow and obey his word. I pray that my life will be a testament to his love for all and that he is the only one who is unmovable, faithful and keep his promises for eternity. Dear Lord, I pray that you give me the wisdom to follow your lead instead of thinking that all this is based on my own doing. Amen!!

I am looking forward to a renewed and refreshed relationship with the Lord. So many things such as shame, guilt, school, lack of time, laziness have kept me away from having consistent devotions over the last few years and I miss that relationship, I want it back. I've let fear and worry take over my mind and I want it replaced with faith and trust. I anticipate the things God will reveal and replace during this journey. I am so thankful of my Father's love and patience when it comes to dealing with me.
