Psalm 40:2-3a He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.

God is Good, I don't look nothing like what I have been through. Psalm 40:2-3 represents my life and my love for God is ever lasting.

My song of praise and gratitude towards God's help and how he has led me through unknown waters can fill many pages. However, I will list my homeschooling process as it seems to be a constant area where God comes in a rescues my inadequate mind from anxiety and fear of what's next. In times pass I have carried the burden of feeling as if the choice to be home for the betterment of my family was the worse idea given to our family. Through the experience of critical review by family and well meaning witnesses of the birthing and growing process, I often felt useless, and not competetent to manage the requirement of teaching and leading my children. I have felt the "shame" stigma associated in our culture regarding stay-at-home mom. In this way, my mind would begin to question God's vision for our family, and I would begin to lean on the world understanding and definition of what and how I should contribute to my family.
But God in his infinate mercy and care repeatedly comes in and lifts my bowed head. Reassures me in days when the sacrifice weighs heavier than the calling, that he will provide all our needs according to HIS riches in Glory.
He rescues me from the thoughts that seek to discourage my soul and tell me ,"put the kids in school and get a job...then you'll be fine, plus you'll have the resources you need."

Time and Time again he sends his word to cofort my weeping spirit and sets me on a high and solid place."Those who trust in the Lord will not be put to shame."(Daniel 3)

I sat down to write a response and was side tracked by youtube. It started with me just listening to my worship song and turned into me listening to about 30 minutes of additional worship song. I can't begin to name the countless times the Lord has intervened in my life, just the thought of some experiences brings tears to my eyes. The nonsense He had to get me out of, all I can do it send the praises up. My praise song that comes to mind is "Something About the Name Jesus" by Kirk Franklin.
