Ladies, now that we've committed, weighed in...we still have to have to devise a plan.
A plan? Yes a plan! The record/ reports show that we eat more and without thought when have to figure out on the spot to eat.

Solution: Even if you don't have a *meal plan written out and posted, mental log your meals, and use that to grocery shop. Secondly, keep your fridge and cupboards stocked with go to snacks that support your goals between breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stock up on nuts and whole grain alternatives!

Third, eat for fuel, not to be full.

Fourth, drink plenty of water. Cleansing the body is essentials to move waste out. The body needs lubrication and hydration; hence drinking lots of water, 100% juices, juicing your own fruits and vegetables are sure ways to get the body on a natural rhythm. One thing I'm doing is stacking water bottles all over the house, avoiding the excuse of not drinking enough water for the day.

Simply stated, food is a necessary resources for the body to do it's everyday tasks. What has happened though, is that we've associated too much comfort to food; therefore it has become a protective blanket ....not for fueling the body, but rather for bringing comfort when we are sad, disappointed, angry, lonely or abandoned.
                                                                PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask you for help to break our various bondage /addictions to food for our respective reasons.  Lord give us a new perspective for fueling our bodies. Lord, we desire healthy temples. Wholeness and wellness are our inheritance in Christ Jesus. Lord, help us as we do our part to live a healthy lifestyle (mind, body, soul).

*developing a meal plan is highly recommended. It allows you to design and review what you're eating on a daily basis.
