Thanking God I'm Favored (TGIF)
As I laid down last night after a long, yet very interesting day...a day of peace and favor, I couldn't muster up the energy to post last night. My thoughts though at the minute I faded into the deep abyss of a restful night, was how awesomely favored by God we are.
Often we find ourselves in new places, surrounded by new people, and the anxiety of how that looks and feels to us can be so terrifying, but in true character our heavenly father swoops in (Omniscient-always present) and calms the waters of our soul. In those moments, God allows us the benefits of his loving support and peace and he goes ahead of us and paves a way that brings clarity and focus.
In his omnipotence, our loving father, who hears our most silent concerns, our inner fears, places the right friendly faces, warm hearts to be the gatekeepers and ambassadors of his grace. That's favor!
God's favor is so delightful and comforting, it is more than gold. It is elevating, and confidence building, it guides and lead us into places where our personalities, good looks, connections, influence CANNOT take...aaawww, God's favor. When I closed my eyes last night, I truly felt the spirit of the Living God was with me ... rather ,ahead of me all day. The spirit opened doors, relaxed faces, quieted spirits. How wonderful is the Lord.
He is faithful to care for all our needs. God's Favor!
