Psalm 23: Cared for by a Good Shepherd

THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Ladies, below is my Sunday afternoon AFFIRMATION for my household and yours! This upcoming week, keep this Psalm before you. I pray you will take a moment and really research the job of a Shepherd. 


 A SHEPHERD
noun - a person who cares for or tends to sheep
--- cares, toils, protects and leads HIS flock of sheep!
 verb - tend, guide



Beloved we have such an awesome Shepherd in Jesus. He is longing to be more to you. This week let us give ourselves freely to the Great SHEPHERD!

He will not allow you to be swallowed up by the bear, the wolf, the fox or lion...the beast that roams the earth looking for whom to devour. Jesus our Shepherd, stands at the gates of the pasture, crook in hand ready to secure every sheep. He is so committed, he will go after each one that strays.

Psalm 23:1-6

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of

righteousness for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the

shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with

me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of

my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup

overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the

days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the

Lord forever.
